Abstract:
All the antagonists treatment Pseudomonas fluorescens, Trichoderma viride and Gliocladium virens (alone or in combination) were also found statistically superior over fungicide treatment to reduced incidence of wilt complex disease. The average incidence of chickpea wilt complex was found minimum in P. fluorescens + T. viride (1.11%), P. fluorescens (3.33%) and P. fluorescens + G. virens (5.56%) as against 33.95 per cent seedlings mortality in fungicide treatment with Contaf (0.1%) and 97.78 per cent in untreated control. Combination treatment of P. fluorescens + T. viride was found to be best to increase the germination per cent and reduce incidence of collar rot, root rot and wilt diseases.
